Jobfinder AI's index picked up 43 new AI and ML engineering postings in the US over the last 7 days, spread across 27 companies. Capital One led with 9 postings. Capco and Cmu each posted 3.

Armadin, CapTech, Datadog and Lilly each posted 2. Acquia, Inc., ActiveCampaign and Airspace Intelligence each posted 1, and the remaining hiring companies also posted single roles.

The mix runs wider than big tech. Financial services and consulting names (Capital One, Capco, CapTech) sit at the top, next to a monitoring software company, a pharmaceutical company and a university-style employer. Example postings also include autonomous driving at Aurora Operations Inc, a streaming product at Comcast, applied AI at Fticonsulting and a fully remote role at Anlatan.

For a job seeker, the practical point is that this week's openings are concentrated at one employer and otherwise scattered thinly. If you only watch a handful of well-known AI labs, you will miss most of what was posted.
