323 product roles from 173 companies, led by IT services firms

In the 7 days to 19 October 2026, Jobfinder AI's index picked up 323 new product management postings located in Europe, spread across 173 companies. Hiring is spread widely: most companies posted only a handful of roles each.

The top of the list is dominated by IT services, consultancy and staffing firms rather than product companies. AVENGA leads with 18 postings, followed by Connectis_ with 17, Margo with 12 and Angry Nerds with 10. Addepto posted 8, while EPAM Systems, Saabgroup and emagine Polska each posted 7. Pekao CoNext posted 6 and ASTEK Polska 5.

Several of these names, including emagine Polska, ASTEK Polska and Pekao CoNext, point to strong activity in Poland. Some of the leading firms place product people with client companies, so a role listed under their name may sit inside another organisation.

The example postings show the range beyond the top ten: product companies such as Wolt in Berlin, Prosus in Amsterdam and Bloomreach on a remote basis, plus a public safety body in Rotterdam and an apprenticeship role in Paris.

Senior candidates have the most options, remote roles are a minority

65.6% of this week's product management postings ask for senior level or above. If you have several years of product ownership behind you, most of the market is open to you. Titles like Senior Product Manager, Group Product Manager and Product Lead appear among the examples.

If you are earlier in your career, the pool is narrower. Look closely at the smaller share of mid-level and junior postings, and at formats such as the apprenticeship-style Product Manager (Alternance) role in Paris, which are built for people still building experience.

Only 23.5% of postings are open to remote work. Most product roles in Europe still expect you near an office in a named city such as Warsaw, Berlin, Amsterdam or Paris. If you need remote work, filter for it from the start and expect more competition per role, since the remote set is a minority of what is posted.

Also check language requirements. Some listings, such as the Wolt posting, state English explicitly, while others, like the Dutch-titled role in Rotterdam, signal that a local language is expected.

How to use this list when applying this week

Start with the companies posting in volume. A firm with 10 or more open product roles is more likely to be running an active hiring process, and one application or recruiter conversation may open several doors at once.

For staffing and consultancy firms, ask early which client the role is for, whether it is a contract or permanent position, and what the day-to-day product scope is. Contract product roles can be a fast way into a new industry, but the terms differ from in-house jobs.

Tailor your CV to the role family. Supply chain, trading, homepage and rail products each ask for different domain evidence, so lead with the outcomes most relevant to that domain rather than a generic product summary.

Because these are postings first seen in the last 7 days, applying soon matters. Newly opened roles have the fullest shortlist ahead of them, and recruiters often review the earliest strong applicants first.

What this data can and cannot tell you

This report is a single snapshot of 323 product management postings in Europe first seen in the 7 days to 19 October 2026. It counts job ads, not hires. A posting may be filled quickly, left open for months, or reposted, and some companies advertise one role several times in different cities.

The market is assigned from the location on each posting, and role group and seniority are classified automatically from the posting text. That means some roles with product in the title but a different focus, such as programme management, may be included, and seniority labels may not match how every employer defines them.

A posting only counts as remote when the employer marks it remote. Some hybrid or flexible roles may be counted as on-site, so the 23.5% figure is a floor for what you might negotiate rather than a ceiling.

Because it is one week of data, this report does not show whether product hiring is rising or falling. Use it to decide where to look and whom to contact now, not to judge the long-term direction of the market.
