**Position Summary**

Protagonist Live is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail\-oriented **Experiential Event Specialist** to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of world\-class trade show exhibits, experiential activations, and live commerce productions.

This role serves as the operational backbone for our events and is responsible for managing projects from concept through execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast\-paced environment, enjoys solving complex logistical challenges, and is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for clients and audiences.

At Protagonist Live, we produce custom experiences for some of the most exciting brands in collectibles, fashion, retail, technology, entertainment, and e\-commerce. From New York Comic\-Con to Miami Swim week to Fanatics Fest and major live commerce activations, no two projects are ever the same.

This is a hands\-on role with extensive travel and requires someone who enjoys being on\-site and bringing ideas to life.

**Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management \& Event Planning**

* Manage multiple trade show and experiential projects simultaneously from kickoff through post\-event wrap\-up. * Develop and maintain project timelines, production schedules, and critical milestones. * Review exhibitor manuals and ensure all deadlines, forms, and requirements are completed accurately and on time. * Coordinate internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless execution. * Provide regular project updates and maintain detailed documentation.

**Exhibit Design \& Booth Planning**

* Create and modify booth layouts, floor plans, and renderings using SketchUp. * Collaborate with creative and fabrication teams to develop engaging exhibit environments. * Plan and manage custom exhibit builds utilizing Aluvision modular booth systems. * Coordinate graphics, furniture, branding elements, lighting, and interactive experiences. * Support integration of LED walls, digital displays, and audiovisual elements.

**Logistics \& Operations**

* Manage shipping, freight, warehouse inventory, and material handling. * Coordinate labor, installation and dismantle schedules, electricians, AV providers, decorators, and venue services. * Arrange travel logistics, hotel accommodations, rental vehicles, and staffing schedules. * Oversee move\-in and move\-out activities and troubleshoot issues in real time.

**Live Commerce \& Production**

* Coordinate livestream productions and live commerce activations at events and in studio environments. * Support productions across platforms including Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay Live, Fanatics Live, and YouTube. * Work closely with hosts, creators, talent, and production teams. * Coordinate camera layouts, streaming equipment, lighting, and production workflows. * Ensure all technical and operational components are executed seamlessly.

**On\-Site Event Leadership**

* Serve as the lead project manager during events. * Ensure exhibits are delivered with exceptional quality and attention to detail. * Resolve challenges quickly and maintain a positive client experience. * Represent Protagonist Live with professionalism and enthusiasm. * Assist with setup and teardown activities as needed.

**QualificationsRequired Experience**

* 3–7\+ years of experience in trade shows, experiential marketing, exhibit operations, event production, or related industries. * Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. * Proficiency in SketchUp and space planning. * Experience with Aluvision booth systems and modular exhibit construction. * Experience coordinating live commerce and livestream productions. * Strong understanding of convention center operations, labor, freight, and exhibitor services. * Excellent communication, organization, and vendor management skills. * Ability to think creatively while maintaining operational excellence.

**Preferred Experience**

* Experience with LED walls and large\-format digital displays. * Familiarity with Freeman, GES, Shepard, and other general service contractors. * Experience working with collectibles, sports, entertainment, gaming, or consumer brands. * Knowledge of audiovisual systems and live production workflows. * PMP certification or event management certifications are a plus.

**Travel Requirements**

* Ability and willingness to travel **60–80% throughout the year**. * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during show periods. * Ability to lift and move exhibit materials up to 50 pounds. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

**Location:** Hybrid / Remote with Extensive Travel

**Travel Requirement:** 60–80%

**Reports To:** Director of Events/ CEO

**Compensation:** Competitive salary plus performance bonus and travel benefits. 401K, Medical, Dental and Vision

Pay: $40,000\.00 \- $60,000\.00 per year
