At 3E , we’re expanding our team in Japan and looking for a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Author ready to grow with us. Whether you’re an experienced professional seeking a high-impact, client-facing role or an early-career scientist eager to learn and contribute, this is your chance to be part of a mission-driven, global company as we establish a new service offering in the Japanese market. You’ll join a collaborative team that combines scientific expertise, cutting-edge technology, and customer focus to deliver high-quality SDS authoring and regulatory support. Along the way, you’ll deepen your knowledge of global regulations, gain exposure to international clients, and help define how we deliver world-class services across Japan and beyond. What You'll Do: Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include: Authoring SDSs independently or with support using tools like 3E Generate, SAP EHS, or WERCS Supporting classification and hazard communication for products under UN GHS, EU CLP, REACH, US OSHA, WHMIS (HPR), and Japan’s JIS Z 7252 / JIS Z 7253 Assisting with or leading first-time SDS creation for new products Participating in or owning client meetings in Japanese to explain technical information, address regulatory questions, and localize global processes Collaborating with cross-functional global teams to ensure service quality Helping tailor and translate GPS processes for the Japanese market Contributing to documentation, training, and support, based on your level What Makes You a Great Fit We’re open to a range of profiles — from early-career candidates to experienced professionals. You’ll be evaluated based on your mix of skills, mindset, and growth potential.
