**Job Summary**
Georgia Power is seeking a **Data Analytics Analyst II** with **3–5 years of experience** to support enterprise data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with **Python, SQL, Databricks, and Power BI** , developing data queries, analyzing large datasets, and creating interactive dashboards that drive business insights and decision\-making.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Develop and optimize SQL queries in Databricks.
· Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
· Create interactive Power BI dashboards connected directly to Databricks.
· Develop data visualizations and reports for business stakeholders.
· Join and transform data from multiple data sources for analysis.
· Calculate statistical metrics, including averages, means, and other key performance indicators.
· Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data\-driven decision\-making.
· Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting solutions.
**Required Qualifications**
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
· Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
· Experience writing and optimizing queries in Databricks.
· Experience developing Power BI dashboards connected to Databricks.
· Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
· Experience building **Databricks Genie Rooms** , applications, and visualizations.
· Experience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud analytics environments.
