We organise premier 5 and 6-a-side football leagues in Sussex and are looking for a proactive marketer to help expand our leagues. We currently run paid advertising campaigns across Meta and Google, but we want to bring in fresh energy to take our team recruitment to the next level.
The Opportunity
This is the perfect side-hustle for a Marketing Executive (with 1–2 years of experience) looking to earn extra money on the side. It is completely flexible, meaning you can easily fit those 2–3 hours around your full-time job. You get a steady hourly base to audit and manage our marketing, plus a direct financial reward for certain teams you get onto the pitch. If you help us bring in just two teams a week, you’ll easily double your hourly earnings.
The Role
Your main objective is to generate new team leads (captains and squads looking to enter our leagues) by optimizing our current ads and looking for creative growth opportunities outside traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ad Optimization & Budget Guidance: Audit our existing Meta and campaigns. Make practical recommendations to improve performance, lower our cost-per-lead, and get the most out of our budget.
- Fresh Lead Generation: Brainstorm and try out quick, creative ideas outside of standard paid advertising (e.g., local community groups, organic social strategies, local workplace outreach, or referral schemes).
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on digital marketing experience (specifically working with and/or ).
- Strong understanding of lead generation basics.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset—you are motivated by hitting targets and earning commission.
- A love for football or grassroots sports is a massive bonus!
Pay: £15.00-£27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 3.0 per week
