VCE English Tutor / Content Developer — Mount Waverley
Help students become more confident writers, stronger thinkers and better communicators.
Absolute Academy is looking for an English tutor to join our Mount Waverley team. You’ll help secondary students understand what assessment questions are asking, develop their ideas and improve their writing through clear, practical feedback.
What you’ll do
- Teach English to secondary students and adapt explanations to their needs.
- Help students build text analysis, writing and exam skills.
- Provide specific feedback that shows students how to improve.
- Support students preparing for SACs, exams and other assessments.
- Contribute to high-quality teaching and study resources.
What we’re looking for
- Strong English knowledge and clear written and verbal communication.
- Patience, reliability and a genuine interest in helping students grow.
- Strong academic achievement, relevant teaching experience or other evidence of subject knowledge.
- The ability to attend our Mount Waverley centre and work agreed afternoon, evening or weekend sessions.
- Australian work rights and an appropriate Victorian Working with Children clearance or applicable exemption.
Prior tutoring experience is valued, and training and professional development are available.
