About the Role
Accenture is looking for a Service Designer to join our growing Experience and Service Design practice. In this role, you'll help organisations reimagine and improve services by placing user needs at the centre of decision-making. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you'll design end-to-end experiences that deliver meaningful outcomes for users while meeting business and operational objectives.
You will collaborate with researchers, designers, product owners, architects, and client stakeholders to shape future-state services, identify opportunities for improvement, and create impactful solutions across digital and non-digital touchpoints. This is an opportunity to work on complex transformation programs that influence how customers, citizens, and employees interact with products and services every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end services that are user-centred, efficient, and aligned to business goals.
- Develop customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and future-state service models.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops, and co-creation activities with users and stakeholders.
- Translate research insights and user needs into actionable service concepts and recommendations.
- Identify service pain points, risks, opportunities, and areas for innovation.
- Collaborate with product, delivery, and technology teams to ensure service design is embedded throughout delivery.
- Create clear service design artefacts that support implementation and decision-making.
- Champion accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles.
- Measure service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement through data, feedback, and iteration.
- Communicate complex concepts through compelling storytelling and visualisation techniques.

Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in Service Design, Human-Centred Design, Customer Experience Design, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience developing service blueprints, customer journey maps, and other service design artefacts.
- Strong understanding of human-centred design methodologies, design thinking, and user research practices.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Experience working within Agile or multidisciplinary delivery environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Proficiency with collaboration and design tools such as Miro, Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex service and customer experience challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance is advantageous.
