ABOUT RAMPED SECURITY
RAMPED Security protects people and assets with solar-powered electric perimeter fencing for commercial and industrial properties. We're launching in Texas, starting in Houston, and building our sales team from the ground up. We're looking for proven Account Executives.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will own the Houston territory and generate new business across construction sites, industrial yards, trailer and cargo lots, auto dealerships, and other commercial properties.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Prospecting in person and by phone, including cold calling and drive-by canvassing
- Conducting on-site visits and security assessments
- Delivering product presentations in person and virtually
- Building relationships with facility managers, operations directors, risk managers, security directors, and fleet managers
- Working with channel partners such as commercial brokers and contractors
- Managing your pipeline and activity in our CRM
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This role is full-time and includes:
- $40,000 base salary
- Uncapped commissions
- Health insurance coverage
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience (security, fencing, construction, industrial services, or similar preferred)
- A track record of generating your own leads
- Strong closing and communication skills
- A self-starter mentality, comfortable in an early-stage, build-it-yourself environment
- Willingness to make numerous prospecting and in-person calls each day
- CRM experience (Hubspot/Pipedrive a plus)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must live in the Houston area as you will often be in the office
