Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Overhead Crane Submittal Coordinator / Writer to manage the technical approval pipeline for our custom material handling systems. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between design engineers, component vendors, structural fabricators, and the customer’s project team.
Your primary responsibility will be compiling, drafting, and reviewing comprehensive engineering submittal packages—including structural calculations, electrical schematics, wheel load profiles, and component data sheets. You will ensure all documentation strictly complies with CMAA, ASME, and OSHA regulatory standards before fabrication and installation begin.

Core Responsibilities
1. Package Compilation & Technical Writing
· Assemble and format comprehensive engineering submittal packages for overhead cranes, runway structures, and custom below-the-hook lifting fixtures.
· Draft clear technical documents, including cover letters, equipment data summaries, and component compliance transmittals.
· Compile final "As-Built" documentation, including structural PE stamps, operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals, parts logs, and warranty booklets for client handover.
2. Technical Review & Quality Control
· Cross-reference vendor datasheets (motors, VFDs, wire rope hoists, radio controls) against customer procurement specifications.
· Verify approval drawings to ensure they perfectly align with structural engineering data, dimensional site constraints, and electrical hookup requirements.
· Document system logistics, including load ratings, safety factors, and factory acceptance test (FAT) plans.
3. Pipeline, Software, & Standards Management
· Manage the submittal register/log to track document statuses (Approved, Approved as Noted, Revise & Resubmit).
