We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Insight Analyst to join our team, working with a leading FMCG client in a fast-paced, commercially focused role where your analysis and recommendations will have a direct impact on sales performance, supply chain efficiency and on-shelf availability.

About the Role

As an Insight Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insight that drives commercial success. Working closely with our client, retailer supply chain teams and field sales colleagues, you will identify opportunities to improve product availability, influence stock allocation and support successful product launches, promotions and key events.

This role combines analytical expertise, stakeholder management and commercial thinking. You'll use multiple data sources to uncover trends, build compelling insight stories and influence decisions that maximise availability both in-store and across retailer depots.

If you have a passion for data, enjoy solving complex supply chain challenges and can turn insight into action, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyse multiple data sources to identify trends, challenges and opportunities that drive sales growth and improve execution.
  • Deliver powerful, data-led insights that support Acosta and our client in improving performance and product availability.
  • Build and present compelling insight stories that influence stakeholders across commercial, operations and supply chain functions.
  • Develop strong relationships with retailer supply chain teams, customer contacts and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with field sales teams to improve stock availability across stores, depots and feature space activations.
  • Monitor inventory performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve on-shelf availability.
  • Utilise reporting platforms and tools to influence stock levels at both depot and store level.
  • Support successful product launches, promotional events and seasonal activations by ensuring sufficient stock is available at the right time.
  • Identify and lead projects that remove inefficiencies and create value across the supply chain.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, presenting recommendations and driving actions through stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial, customer service, operations and demand planning teams to ensure products flow efficiently from depot to shopper.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded professional who can confidently work with large datasets whilst influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience within an FMCG commercial, supply chain or category environment.
  • Strong analytical and numerical capability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Organised, proactive and highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.

You'll Really Stand Out If You Have

  • Experience working with retailer data and supply chain systems.
  • Knowledge of stock management, replenishment or availability programmes.
  • Experience influencing external retail stakeholders.
  • Previous experience delivering insight-led improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with field sales, category management or customer operations functions.

What's in It for You?

  • Opportunity to work with a leading global FMCG brand.
  • A role where your insights directly influence commercial performance.
