Aston Carter is seeking an experienced Solution Executive – Business & Enterprise Modernization Services to help grow our expanding consulting practice.
This client-facing role will work directly with senior business and technology leaders to understand complex business challenges, identify transformation opportunities, and shape consulting solutions across business transformation, enterprise modernization, technology and digital transformation, AI strategy and adoption, process excellence, organizational change, and data & analytics.
The ideal candidate combines consulting or professional services experience with business development, executive advisory, and solution development capabilities. The Solution Executive will help advance opportunities from discovery and solution design through proposal development and contracting, then partner with Practice and Delivery leaders to support successful engagement launches.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business and technology leaders.
- Identify and qualify enterprise transformation and modernization opportunities.
- Lead client discovery conversations to understand business challenges, priorities, and desired outcomes.
- Partner with Business Development teams to develop pursuit strategies and advance qualified opportunities.
- Shape consulting solutions across business transformation, enterprise modernization, process excellence, technology and digital transformation, AI strategy and adoption, organizational change, and data & analytics.
- Develop solution scope, deliverables, estimates, timelines, governance, acceptance criteria, assumptions, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Support proposal development and deliver executive-level client presentations.
- Support commercial activities including pricing, deal structure, contractual considerations, and engagement risk.
- Collaborate with Practice and Delivery leaders to transition contracted engagements into delivery.
- Identify follow-on opportunities and help clients develop longer-term transformation roadmaps.
- Contribute to repeatable consulting offerings, methodologies, case studies, and intellectual property.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, enterprise transformation, or professional services.
- Proven experience selling, shaping, or delivering enterprise transformation solutions.
- Experience working directly with senior business and technology executives.
- Strong business development and client relationship skills.
- Experience with solution development, proposals, scoping, estimates, pricing, presentations, and contracting.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Transformation

- AI Strategy & Adoption
- Process Excellence
- Organizational Effectiveness
- Change Management
- Data & Analytics
- Strong business and financial judgment, including pricing, deal structure, contracts, and engagement risk.

- Growth-oriented mindset with an interest in building new consulting capabilities and expanding strategic client relationships.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
