Menck is looking for a full-time and permanent Project Manager (m/w/d) based at their facility in Kaltenkirchen, Germany.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver international offshore projects in wind energy, port and bridge infrastructure, and oil & gas sectors, with full technical and commercial responsibility.

Manage all project activities from contract handover through to final customer acceptance.

Provide expert customer support and develop technically and commercially optimal solutions.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and act as the interface between Sales, Engineering, Production, and Equipment Management.

Review contracts, specifications, and project scope to ensure compliance and completeness.

Define project milestones, work packages, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and opportunities through continuous project controlling.

Oversee product development, manufacturing, assembly, and delivery activities to ensure project success.

Manage project changes, delays, claims, and contractual issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure comprehensive project documentation, project close-out, continuous improvement, and alignment with Menck's vision, values, and goals.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a commercial discipline with strong technical understanding.

Several years of experience in project management and order execution, ideally in an international environment.

Practical experience in heavy machinery, special-purpose machinery, shipbuilding, civil engineering, or a related industry.

Experience reviewing contracts and managing contractual requirements is an advantage.

Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP/resource planning systems; MS Navision experience is desirable.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Strong commercial awareness combined with a customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.

Proactive, structured, and independent working style with a high level of accountability.

Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills with a decisive and entrepreneurial approach.
