Job description:
The Role
Software Engineer to build customer-facing product experiences and the backend systems behind them for an AI agent platform running workflows at large scale. Small, highly technical engineering team with significant individual ownership and direct influence over both the product and the underlying systems. This is a hands-on individual contributor track, not a path toward management.

Key Responsibilities
* Build customer-facing product experiences using React and TypeScript
* Develop APIs and backend services supporting those experiences
* Build UI for AI agent research traces
* Debug client and server state consistency issues
* Define models and standards for API contracts
* Triage production issues and perform root-cause analysis
* Design, deploy, and maintain high-traffic production systems
* Help codify team-wide engineering processes and reusable tooling
Qualifications Required
* Approximately 2-5 years of software engineering experience
* Strong full-stack product engineering experience
* Strong React and TypeScript experience
* Experience building and shipping polished, customer-facing web products in production
* Experience building the APIs and services behind the product
* Experience as a primary individual contributor on meaningful projects
* Experience designing and deploying high-traffic products
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
Preferred
* Production experience with Go
* Distributed systems experience
* Experience with TanStack (Query/Router), WebSockets, or Zustand
* Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, PubSub, RPC, S3, or Temporal
* Experience in both larger-scale engineering environments and fast-growing startup environments
* Competitive programming or ICPC experience
Shipped work and demonstrated engineering ability matter more than titles or school pedigree.
