About the Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from commencement through to completion.

- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and work programs.

- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

- Review construction plans, specifications, drawings and project documentation.

- Monitor project costs, resources and timelines and address any variations or delays.

- Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, equipment and services required for projects.

- Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements.

- Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, WHS requirements, quality standards and company procedures.

- Conduct site inspections and project meetings and resolve construction-related issues.

- Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, consultants and relevant authorities.

- Prepare and maintain project reports, progress updates, budgets and other project documentation.

- Identify project risks and implement appropriate risk-management measures.

- Ensure projects meet required quality, safety, contractual and commercial requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.

- Minimum 12 months of full-time relevant work experience in construction/project management.

- Previous experience coordinating construction projects, contractors and project stakeholders.

- Sound understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting and cost control.

- Knowledge of relevant Australian construction standards, building requirements and WHS practices is desirable.

- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.

- Current Australian driver’s licence is desirable.

Availability

The successful applicant must be available to work full-time, 38 hours per week, and be able to attend project sites as required.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
