To strengthen our company growth, we are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant MS Dynamics 365 FSCM - Finance

Your role

• You will lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, from requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis through solution design, configuration, data migration, testing and go-live support. You ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget and meet client expectations.

• You will work closely with CFOs, finance managers and controllers to understand their financial processes and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. You'll run workshops, build proof-of-concepts and advise on best practices across General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Project Management & Accounting and Financial Reporting.

• You will design solutions that fit the Belgian legal and fiscal context: Belgian chart of accounts (MAR/PCMN), VAT and Intervat declarations, intra-community and client listings, statutory reporting (NBB annual accounts), e-invoicing via Peppol and the 2026 B2B e-invoicing obligation, CODA bank statements and SEPA payments.

• You will set up multi-company and intercompany structures, consolidation, currency and allocation rules, and month-end and year-end closing processes, helping clients achieve a faster, more controlled close.

• You will take charge of presales activities, drawing on your expertise to win new projects. This includes crafting proposals, preparing demos and presentations, estimating project scopes and convincingly showing the value of Dynamics 365 Finance and Power Platform to prospective customers.

• You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure Dynamics 365 Finance works seamlessly within the client's landscape. You might design integrations with banking platforms, payroll, expense management, procurement, CRM or BI tools using Data Entities, Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps or third-party tools.

• You will establish standards and best practices for our new Dynamics ERP team based on the adesso way of working, including methodologies, governance (ALM processes, Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services) and quality standards.

• As we grow, you will mentor and lead new team members, train junior consultants and coordinate their work.

• You stay up to date on the latest features in the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. You proactively apply this knowledge to keep our offerings innovative, whether it's implementing new Finance features, using AI-driven tools such as Copilot for Finance, automating financial processes or improving project delivery methods.

Your profile

• You have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (or Dynamics AX), with at least 8 years of hands-on experience implementing ERP finance solutions. You know the Finance modules inside out and have a solid understanding of the underlying data structures, financial dimensions, posting profiles and Electronic Reporting.

• You combine ERP expertise with real finance knowledge. A degree in accounting, finance or economics, or a background as accountant, controller or finance manager, is a strong asset. You speak the language of the CFO and understand Belgian accounting and tax rules.

• You have successfully delivered multiple Dynamics 365 Finance implementations for Belgian clients. From planning and design to deployment and user adoption, you have been responsible for complex projects, preferably in a consulting or integrator environment.

• You possess excellent people and communication skills. You can manage stakeholders at all levels and build trusted relationships with clients. Internally, you are a team player who shares knowledge and guides colleagues to success.

• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (e.g. MB-310 or MB-300) is a plus – if you don't have it, you're possibly working towards it. Power Platform or Azure certifications are also looked upon favorably.

• You are passionate about the Dynamics 365 ERP ecosystem and keep up with the latest innovations. You approach challenges with a positive, proactive attitude and thrive in an environment where you can shape the practice and truly make an impact.

• You are Dutch or French speaking and fluent in English

Nice to have

• Experience with international projects and multi-country implementations, including localisations beyond Belgium

• Experience with global template design and roll-outs to subsidiaries in other countries

• Presales experience: running discovery sessions, preparing demos or prototypes, answering RFPs and crafting solution proposals

• Knowledge of group consolidation, transfer pricing or IFRS reporting

• Experience with Copilot for Finance, Power BI financial reporting or finance process automation
