Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer / Cloud Senior Data Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL, along with a strong understanding of data ingestion, processing, transformation, and data engineering best practices.

The successful candidate will work with technical and business stakeholders to develop reliable, scalable, and optimized data solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Utilize Databricks and Snowflake to process, transform, store, and manage data.
• Develop and optimize data processing scripts using Python and SQL.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Apply data modeling principles and data engineering best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Implement version control and CI/CD practices using Git and DevOps tools.
• Work with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and modern data architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather technical requirements and recommend appropriate data solutions.
• Support BI and analytics initiatives using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on professional experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud-based data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with at least one additional cloud data platform or technology, such as Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, GCP, or Hadoop.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data architecture best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Pay: Php75,000.00 - Php150,000.00 per month
