Job Title: HR Manager – Solar \& Infrastructure

Role Overview

The HR Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle across both corporate headquarters and regional solar/infrastructure project sites. Key Responsibilities \& Duties

1\. Strategic Workforce Planning \& Mobilization

Partner with Project Directors to forecast labor demands based on project pipelines and commissioning schedules.

Rapidly mobilize and demobilize site\-specific teams as project phases transition from civil engineering to electrical installation.

Manage a robust pipeline of both permanent staff and contract\-based blueprint/technical labor.

2\. Specialized \& High\-Volume Recruitment

Corporate/Technical: Source and hire specialized talent including Solar Design Engineers, Grid Integration Experts, Contract Managers, and Project Directors.

Field Operations: Establish relationships with local labor contractors, trade schools, and industrial training institutes (ITIs) to secure site technicians, surveyors, and operators.

Manage local\-hiring mandates to maintain strong relationships with communities surrounding project sites.

3\. Statutory Compliance \& Labor Relations

Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and central labor laws (including contract labor regulations, factory acts, and minimum wage mandates).

Oversee the management of labor accommodation (labor camps), ensuring they meet health, sanitation, and safety standards.

Mitigate labor disputes, manage union relations where applicable, and conduct regular grievance redressal audits on\-site.

4\. Safety (EHS) Integration \& Training

Collaborate closely with the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to ensure 100% completion of mandatory safety inductions and continuous certifications (e.g., working at heights, electrical safety, heavy machinery operation).

Enforce zero\-tolerance policies regarding safety non\-compliance across all company locations.

5\. Payroll, Attendance \& Site Administration

Implement and manage robust attendance tracking systems (such as biometric or geo\-fenced mobile systems) capable of syncing data from remote locations to the central payroll system.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of site allowances, travel reimbursements, and overtime pay.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

Education: MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically within the renewable energy, power, construction, or heavy infrastructure sectors.

Domain Expertise:

Deep understanding of regional labor laws and contract labor management.

Familiarity with tracking metrics across decentralized project sites.

Technical Savvy: Experience with modern HRIS/payroll platforms (e.g., Darwinbox, SuccessFactors, Zoho People) and remote attendance tools.

Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel to remote, off\-grid project site locations up to 30% of the time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Time\-to\-Mobilize: Meeting headcount requirements for new project sites within the agreed\-upon pre\-construction timeline.

Compliance Score: Zero penalties or legal notices from government labor or safety boards during site inspections.

Retention Rate: Maintaining low attrition among critical technical staff (Project Engineers and Site Managers) during active project phases.

Pay: ₹15,517\.40 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month

Work Location: In person
