Location: Mysore, Karnataka

We cater to domestic as well as international Tier-1 customers across diverse industries. With integrated manufacturing facilities in Mysuru and Belagavi, Karnataka, our foundry and machine shop have a consolidated production capacity of 7,200 metric tonnes of machined iron castings annually.

Position: Foundry Quality Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Foundry Quality Engineer to strengthen our quality team and ensure our products consistently meet customer and automotive industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspection of foundry products.
  • Understand engineering drawings and GD&T requirements for inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and process reports.
  • Perform calibration and verification of measuring and inspection instruments.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using standard measuring equipment.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with Production and Process teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, or related Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in foundry or automotive manufacturing quality.
  • Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949 documentation.
  • Experience using inspection and measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other quality equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
