Your role:
As an Environment Artist (f/m/d) you have an eye for detail and a passion for creating stunning environments. You will create key art assets for our projects / games while collaborating with Art and Production Leads.
The kind of stuff you`ll be doing:

Mainly working within the Unreal Engine to plan and complete the whole process involved in creating the Art(Style) for our games – be it realistic, stylized, etc.

You will be closely working with the level designer(s) to plan the levels
-
Create and Optimize 3D Assets – handmade as well as third party

Have an understanding of performance and guidelines regarding a level composition, as well as asset management, shading, lighting, particles

You will be setting up the guidelines and also asset lists that are needed for the level

You will be closely working with the other artists to finalize the levels
Who are we looking for:
You:
-
have worked already at least 5 years in the games industry
-
know the industry-standard workflows for creating 3D game content and are always adapting to new trends to optimize and improve efficiency
-
have very good knowledge of workflows, pipelines and tools that can improve our existing workflows
-
have already worked with UE4 (and maybe Unity) and are familiar with its Blueprint Systems, Shaders and the PBR Workflows
-
know your way around any 3D modelling tool and are motivated to switch to Blender
-
Fun in Worldbuilding – not only putting some assets somewhere but also creation of brands, game-specific logos, Icons, etc.

willing to elevate yourself and will take your own steps for self-education, as well as give your knowledge to the art department

The ideal candidate also has one more of the following:

Background knowledge of game engines and the technologies behind modern graphics, including rendering, lighting, shading and related techniques.

Background knowledge about performance impacts, optimization, etc.
