About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated warehouse and logistics specialist (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across international borders, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting the growth of our robotics business.

Your Responsibilities

Warehouse

  • Receive and prepare goods for shipping
  • Unload and Load Trucks from our locations in Munich via Forklift Operations

Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply chain and minimizing lead times.
  • Evaluate and select third-party logistics partners to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Shipping and Distribution:

  • Coordinate and negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping agents to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise during transit.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen events that may impact logistics operations.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Negotiate favourable terms with logistics service providers and suppliers.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain open and effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in logistics and import/export management, preferably in the technology or robotics industry
  • Experience working in Germany and/or Western Europe is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in German and English is a must
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
