About the role
We are looking for a Senior SDET to build and maintain Web and API automation frameworks from scratch and define the automation strategy within the squads.
The mandatory requirements are strong programming skills in Java, 4+ years of experience as an SDET, API automation with REST Assured, frontend automation with Playwright, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and an upper-intermediate English level.
Must haves
- 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Java (a "developer-first" approach to QA).
- Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
- Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Deep understanding of the "shift-left" approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Previous experience in the Loyalty or Fintech sectors.
- Experience with performance or load testing (e.g., JMeter or Gatling).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and SQL for data validation within test scripts.
- Experience working with mocking frameworks.
