QA Engineer – ETL & Data Warehouse Testing

Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong ETL and Data Warehouse Testing experience to validate data accuracy, transformation, and quality across source systems, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ETL and Data Warehouse testing across source, staging, and warehouse layers.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, duplicates, nulls, transformations, and business rules.
- Test Fact/Dimension tables and SCD Type 1/2/3.
- Validate full, incremental, Delta/CDC data loads.
- Perform source-to-target mapping and reconciliation.
- Validate BI reports/dashboards against warehouse data.
- Create test cases, track defects, and perform retesting in Jira.
- Support automation/data validation using Python or scripting.
Mandatory Skills
- 4–7 years QA experience, with 3+ years in ETL/DWH Testing.
- Strong SQL skills – Joins, CTEs, Subqueries, Aggregations.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Facts, Dimensions, and SCD.
- Hands-on experience with at least one ETL tool – Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or ADF.
- Experience with data validation and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of STLC and Agile/Scrum.
Good to Have
- Snowflake / Redshift / BigQuery / Databricks.
- Python / Pytest / Pandas.
- Power BI / Tableau testing.
- Jenkins / Azure DevOps / Git.
- BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Telecom domain experience.
Preferred Candidate: Strong hands-on QA professional with solid ETL + Data Warehouse + SQL experience.
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hinjewadi, Pune, Maharashtra
