We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain AI-powered features for a scalable SaaS platform. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, hands-on backend development experience, practical knowledge of AI integrations, and a solid understanding of software engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- AI-Powered Feature Development: Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled product features that improve application functionality and user experience.
- Backend Development: Build, test, and maintain reliable backend services using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant technologies.
- LLM Integration: Integrate large language models and AI services into product workflows to support intelligent application features.
- Prompt Engineering: Develop, test, and refine prompts to improve AI response quality, accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
- API Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs for communication between frontend applications, backend services, and external systems.
- External API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs, AI platforms, and external services into existing product applications.
- Database Management: Work with SQL databases and other data storage systems to manage application data, perform queries, and support efficient data processing.
- Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, troubleshoot application issues, identify defects, and ensure software quality and reliability.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and contribute to maintainable and well-structured code.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance, investigate production issues, and implement improvements to system reliability and efficiency.
- Security and Scalability: Develop secure application components and contribute to scalable software architecture and data-handling practices.
- Cloud Deployment: Support application deployment, cloud infrastructure integration, and maintenance of production environments.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain documentation for APIs, application components, AI integrations, and development processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to plan, build, test, and release product features.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve application performance, AI integration quality, development workflows, and overall product reliability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 3–6 years of relevant software development experience.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for backend and application development.
- Backend Development: Hands-on experience building backend services, application logic, and REST APIs.
- AI and LLM Integration: Practical experience integrating language models, AI services, or external AI APIs into software applications.
- Prompt Engineering: Understanding of prompt design, testing, and refinement for AI-powered applications.
- Database Knowledge: Good understanding of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and database operations.
- Version Control: Working knowledge of Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Testing Skills: Experience writing automated tests, debugging applications, and maintaining code quality.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms, application deployment, and scalable application design.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical challenges.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
