FlutterFlow / Low-Code Mobile App Developer Needed for Regional Marketplace
Project Overview
We are building a hyper-localized mobile platform designed specifically for local workers in Kerala.
Scope of Work
You will be responsible for building the frontend, user flows, and backend integrations using FlutterFlow and Firebase. The app requires:
* The 3-Button Home Screen UI:
* Clean, high-contrast interface designed for elderly or non-tech-savvy users.
* Prominent Malayalam typography with secondary English text labels.
* Three primary action zones: Area Job Search (എന്റെ ഏരിയയിലെ Job), Application History (എന്റെ Applications), and Voice/Photo Profile (എന്റെ Profile).
* Permanent footer links for WhatsApp Support and direct phone calling.
* Frictionless Authentication:
* Mobile number login using Firebase Phone OTP (no passwords or emails).
* Voice-First Profile Creation:
* A 10-second audio recording feature using the device microphone.
* Integration with an external Speech-to-Text API (e.g., OpenAI Whisper configured for Malayalam ml-IN) to automatically transcribe audio into profile data fields.
* Instant Camera Upload:
* A streamlined camera flow that opens instantly, snaps a worker's photo, auto-compresses it, and stores it in the database without navigating the device's gallery.
* Database & State Management:
* Setting up Firestore or Supabase collections for worker profiles, job listings, and basic application states.
Required Tech Stack & Skills
* Proven experience building mobile apps using FlutterFlow.
* Strong understanding of Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Storage).
* Experience integrating third-party APIs (specifically Audio/Speech-to-Text services like OpenAI Whisper).
* Ability to design clean, accessible, mobile-first UI layouts with custom font scaling.
* Clear communication and ability to work collaboratively to refine product logic.
Deliverables & Timeline
* Timeline: 3 to 4 weeks from project kickoff.
* Milestone 1: UI layout and navigation setup (Home Screen, Profile Screen).
* Milestone 2: Backend authentication, database schema, and media/camera integration.
* Milestone 3: Voice recording and Speech-to-Text API pipeline.
* Final Delivery: Fully tested APK file ready for local field deployment and testing.
