POSITION: PROJECT-IN-CHARGE (PIC)

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and highly motivated Project-in-Charge (PIC) to join our growing team!
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing mechanical construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, proper coordination, and timely project completion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and supervise daily construction activities, particularly HVAC, ducting, piping, and other mechanical installations.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Ensure that all mechanical works comply with approved engineering plans, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and ensure quality workmanship.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly project accomplishment reports.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, construction delays, and site-related concerns.
- Monitor project costs, material consumption, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other project-related duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Preferably with two (2) to three (3) years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering, construction, or project supervision.
- Experience as a Project-in-Charge, Project Engineer, Site Engineer, or similar position is an advantage.
- Licensed Mechanical Engineers are preferred, but non-board passers are also welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, piping, and mechanical installation works.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications.
- Knowledgeable in project planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, and manpower management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Capable of supervising construction personnel and coordinating with subcontractors.
- Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to be assigned to different project sites.
