# Business Analyst
## Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and support the delivery of high-quality technology solutions. The Business Analyst will play a key role in improving business processes and ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals.
## Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
* Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
* Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Create and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), process flows, and use cases.
* Work closely with product owners, project managers, developers, QA teams, and solution architects throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story grooming.
* Assist in defining project scope, priorities, and business objectives.
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with business users, and validating delivered functionality.
* Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
* Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project environments.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar collaboration and documentation tools.
* Knowledge of SQL and basic data analysis.
* Experience working on digital transformation or enterprise application projects.
* Familiarity with API integrations and system interfaces.
* Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or ECBA are a plus.
