WEDDING & EVENT PROJECT COORDINATOR (REMOTE, PHILIPPINES) — 2 OPENINGS
Company: Alangkaar Group (Singapore) — Indian and multicultural weddings, corporate events, catering, décor and rentals
Location: Remote / work from home — anywhere in the Philippines
Hours: Mon–Fri 10:30am–7:00pm (Philippine time = Singapore time, no night shift). Some weekend event-day support with time off in lieu.
Pay: PHP 40,000 – 55,000 per month, depending on experience
The role
We close many weddings and events every month. You will OWN a portfolio of booked clients from deposit to event day, so every client feels looked after and every event runs perfectly. Our CEO sells; you deliver.
What you will do, for every client you own
- Build the planning timeline the day the client books: every service, every deadline, every owner
- Chase every vendor and team member until each item is confirmed: décor, catering, photo/video, makeup, cars, priest, DJ and sound
- Send each client a clear weekly update — nobody waits or chases us
- Run the event checklist and run sheet; lock the full brief 2–4 weeks before the event
- Keep our project board up to date and flag any risk to the CEO the same day
- Catch problems early: missing confirmations, unpaid balances, unhappy messages
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT / Claude) daily to draft updates, timelines and checklists fast
You have
- 2+ years as a wedding planner, event coordinator or project coordinator (weddings strongly preferred)
- Have handled 5+ live events or projects at the same time
- Excellent written English; calm, warm and firm with clients and vendors
- Very organised: you live in checklists, timelines and trackers
- Daily use of AI tools
- Laptop, fibre internet AND a backup connection, quiet workspace
Bonus
- Indian or South Asian wedding experience
- Hotel, hospitality or catering background
- Experience with a Singapore or international company
