About Bloop
Bloop is building a new way to learn by bringing education into the kind of content experience people already love short, engaging, interactive, and easy to discover.
Our goal is to make learning feel less like a task and more like something people naturally want to explore, scroll through, create, and share.
We’re an early-stage team, which means this role is much more than simply managing a marketing calendar. We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership of growing Bloop from the ground up.
The Role
We are looking for a highly proactive and execution-focused Marketing & Growth Manager to lead Bloop’s online and offline marketing efforts.
You will own initiatives across social media, creator outreach, creator onboarding, student marketing, offline campaigns, intern management, partnerships, growth experiments, and day-to-day marketing operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a startup environment, takes initiative without waiting for detailed instructions, and is comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on execution.
What You’ll OwnSocial Media & Digital Growth
- Own and grow Bloop’s presence across Instagram and other relevant social platforms.
- Plan and manage the social media content calendar.
- Develop campaigns, posts, reels, creator collaborations, and other content designed to increase awareness, engagement, and downloads.
- Identify new content formats and trends relevant to students and young audiences.
- Track campaign performance and continuously experiment with ways to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Help develop Bloop’s overall brand voice and online presence.
Creator Outreach & Onboarding
- Build and manage Bloop’s creator outreach pipeline.
- Identify relevant educators, student creators, subject experts, and emerging creators.
- Reach out to potential creators through Instagram, email, and other channels.
- Manage conversations and follow-ups with prospective creators.
- Guide creators through onboarding and help them understand how to successfully create content on Bloop.
- Build long-term relationships with creators and develop programs that encourage them to remain active on the platform.
- Track creator acquisition, onboarding, activation, and engagement.
Intern Management
- Manage marketing and creator-outreach interns.
- Assign tasks, define priorities, and track daily and weekly progress.
- Train interns on outreach, social media, research, and other marketing processes.
- Review the quality of their work and provide feedback.
- Build simple systems and processes that allow the team to operate efficiently.
Online & Offline Marketing
- Take ownership of Bloop’s overall marketing execution across both digital and physical channels.
- Develop and execute campaigns targeted toward students, creators, schools, tuition classes, coaching centres, colleges, and other relevant communities.
- Coordinate offline initiatives such as banners, QR campaigns, campus promotions, events, partnerships, and local activations.
- Explore partnerships and distribution opportunities that can expand Bloop’s reach.
- Test unconventional and low-cost growth ideas appropriate for an early-stage startup.
Growth & Product Expansion
- Constantly look for opportunities to grow Bloop's user base and creator ecosystem.
- Design and run growth experiments across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Collect feedback from students, creators, and users and communicate insights to the product team.
- Identify opportunities to improve the user journey from discovering Bloop to becoming an active user.
- Take initiative in testing new markets, communities, partnerships, and acquisition channels.
- Think beyond assigned tasks and proactively propose ideas that can move the business forward.
Marketing & Business Operations
- Help manage the day-to-day operational activities required to keep marketing and growth initiatives moving.
- Maintain creator, campaign, partnership, and outreach trackers.
- Coordinate activities between founders, interns, creators, designers, and other team members.
- Manage relevant business and social media accounts and ensure they remain organized and up to date.
- Monitor ongoing initiatives and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Create simple weekly reports showing progress, results, challenges, and next priorities.
- Help establish repeatable processes as the company grows.
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have experience in marketing, growth, social media, creator management, community building, or a related field.
- Understand Instagram and short-form content extremely well.
- Are comfortable reaching out to creators and building relationships from scratch.
- Can manage multiple people, campaigns, and priorities simultaneously.
- Are highly organized and strong at follow-through.
- Are comfortable using data to understand whether a campaign is actually working.
- Can communicate clearly with creators, students, partners, interns, and internal team members.
- Are willing to execute not just create strategies or presentations.
- Take ownership of problems and try to solve them independently.
- Enjoy experimenting and learning quickly.
- Are comfortable working in the ambiguity and fast pace of an early-stage startup.
What Matters Most to Us
We care less about having a perfect resume and more about how you operate.
We’re looking for someone who:
Takes initiative. You don’t wait to be told every next step.
Owns outcomes. You care about whether something actually generated creators, users, engagement, or growth not simply whether the task was completed.
Executes quickly. You can turn an idea into an experiment instead of discussing it for weeks.
Understands the audience. You can think from the perspective of students and creators rather than creating generic corporate marketing.
Is resourceful. When something doesn’t work, you find another way.
Can build from zero. You’re excited by the opportunity to create processes, campaigns, communities, and growth channels that don't already exist.
Success in This Role
During your first few months, we would expect you to help Bloop:
- Build a consistent and engaging social media presence.
- Establish a structured creator acquisition and onboarding pipeline.
- Grow the number of active creators on the platform.
- Effectively manage and develop the marketing intern team.
- Launch and measure online and offline growth experiments.
- Build relationships with relevant student and educational communities.
- Improve awareness and acquisition among Bloop's target users.
- Establish scalable marketing and operational processes.
- Continuously identify new opportunities to expand Bloop’s reach.
Why Join Bloop?
This is an opportunity to join an early-stage product where your work will directly influence how the company grows.
You won’t be joining to simply maintain an existing marketing machine.
You’ll help build it.
You’ll have the freedom to experiment, launch campaigns, build creator relationships, test new distribution channels, and help shape how Bloop reaches its first major communities of users.
If you’re someone who likes taking ownership, building from zero, and seeing the direct impact of your work, we’d love to hear from you.
