Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python and/or Java, hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks, and a strong mindset toward quality and ownership.
Experience in dashboard development and data visualization will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python and/or Java.
- Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned testing and automation activities.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyze test results and provide clear reports and actionable insights.
- Continuously explore and implement better tools, techniques, and practices for test automation.
- Quickly adapt to new technologies, products, and business requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with API testing, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable automation code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
