Key Responsibilities:
- Define, own, and evolve the test automation strategy aligned with business objectives and release goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks covering UI (web & desktop), API, integration, and backend testing.
- Build and maintain integration and acceptance test suites for downstream solution upgrades.
- Act as a quality gate during Diagnostic Suite promotions and releases.
- Drive automation for smoke, sanity, regression, UI, API, and integration test suites.
- Perform and guide functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution.
- Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Write high-quality, maintainable automation code using Java-based frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
- Review test code and provide feedback to improve design, stability, and coverage.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in automation best practices.
- Manage test data, test environments, and automation dependencies effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development or testing.
- Healthcare domain knowledge with DICOM fundamentals
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation (UI + integration testing).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities
Good to Have:
- Experience with PACS /Viewer/Medical Imaging systems.
- Familiarity with Healthcare standards (HL7 is a plus).
- Prior experience testing AI/ML-based healthcare applications.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (e.g., GCP, AWS).
