Position Overview
Team Lifeliners are a vital part of the Alligator Steps team! They serve as support crew for our swim instructors during lessons, helping ensure classes run smoothly, safely, and on time. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children, being part of a team, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support swim instructors during lessons by assisting with class flow and transitions

Help maintain a safe pool deck environment

Assist students with entering and exiting the pool

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas

Communicate professionally with instructors and families as needed
Qualifications
- Enjoy working with children of all ages
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to follow instructions and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Previous swim or childcare experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the pool deck for extended periods
- Ability to lift light equipment
- Must be attentive and alert at all times during lessons
Schedule & Availability
- Morning availability required
- Consistent weekly schedule
- Ideal position for homeschoolers seeking a structured morning role
