We are seeking a Junior Waiter to supports senior restaurant staff by greeting guests, clearing tables, and delivering food and drinks in a fast-paced dining environment while maintaining Son Of A Fish’s service, presentation, hygiene and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Dining Experience
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
- Take and serve orders accurately while ensuring timely delivery.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized attention to enhance satisfaction.
Operational Duties
- Set up, maintain, and clear tables according to high-end standards.
- Assist in daily opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
Knowledge & Upselling
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and wine/beverage offerings.
- Upsell specials, premium items, and wine pairings to maximize revenue.
- Stay updated on restaurant promotions, events, and service standards.
Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.
- Follow hygiene practices and service protocols strictly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in high-end restaurants, fine-dining, or luxury hotels.
- Knowledge of fine-dining etiquette, service standards, and wine/beverage pairings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
