ALZURA Pay is expanding, and we are building a new development team in Lithuania. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at an early stage and play a key role in shaping the future of our payment platform.
As a PHP Developer (m/f/d), you will build and enhance the backend services powering our payment platform. Working with modern technologies such as PHP, Symfony, PostgreSQL and AWS, you will develop scalable, secure and high-performance solutions used by businesses across Europe.

Your daily tasks

Professional software development using PHP 7/8, Symfony, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS (S3, SQS, API Gateway), REST APIs, and event-driven architectures

Active shaping of the software architecture and contributions to design decisions

Developing, testing, and documenting the planned functionality

Working in a small, self-reliant Scrum team

Documentation of planning and implementation processes in the project management software Jira and Confluence
What we expect from you

Several years of professional experience as a PHP Backend Developer (m/f/d)

Strong knowledge of REST API design and development

In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization, indexing and query performance tuning

Good understanding of Redis and caching strategies

Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures and message queues (AWS SQS or RabbitMQ)

Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly S3, SQS and API Gateway

Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose

Proficient english
