**QA/QC Engineer (Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer) – Job Description**
Position Summary
A QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, processes, or construction activities meet defined quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing quality procedures, conducting inspections, managing audits, identifying non\-conformities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection programs. * Review project specifications, drawings, standards, and quality requirements. * Perform inspections and quality checks on materials, equipment, and finished work. * Monitor manufacturing, construction, or production processes to ensure compliance. * Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records. * Conduct internal audits and support external/client audits. * Identify non\-conformities, investigate root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). * Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality issues. * Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations. * Track quality metrics and recommend process improvements.
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). * 2–5\+ years of experience in QA/QC, quality engineering, manufacturing, or construction quality management. * Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection techniques * . * **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Defect/rejection rate * Audit compliance score * Number of non\-conformities closed * Customer complaints reduction * First\-pass yield/improvement metrics * On\-time quality documentation completion
