Job Summary
As a Servicing Sales Technician, you’ll combine hands-on equipment knowledge with customer-focused sales support. You’ll assess service and maintenance needs, recommend suitable parts or solutions, and help customers make informed decisions. Your impact: Accurate diagnostics and practical recommendations help customers restore equipment and keep operations moving.
Duties
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment using electrical diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and an ohmmeter.
- Review schematics and interpret technical drawings to identify components, faults, and repair needs.
- Support sales of service, parts, and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products based on customer requirements.
- Explain findings and recommendations clearly, coordinate follow-up, and document service and sales activity.
- Apply heavy equipment mechanics knowledge to help identify repair needs and appropriate solutions.
Experience
- Technical proficiency in equipment troubleshooting and service support is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with electrical diagnostics, schematics, technical drawings, and an ohmmeter are important for the role.
- Experience with heavy equipment mechanics and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) is preferred.
- Clear communication, customer service, and the ability to connect technical findings to practical recommendations are valued.
Pay: $52,200.00 - $110,000.00 per year
