1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Full Stack Web Developer who can design, develop, deploy and maintain websites, web applications and custom software solutions. The candidate should have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, database management, API integration and application deployment.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling projects end-to-end, from understanding client requirements and planning the architecture to development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance.

2. Roles & Responsibilities:

A. Website Development

Design, develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly and high-performance websites.
Develop business websites, corporate websites, landing pages, portfolio websites, e-commerce websites and dynamic web applications.
Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional websites.
Work with platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or other CMS platforms wherever required.
Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, SEO-friendly, secure and optimised for speed.
Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, bugs, and technical issues.

B. Full Stack Development

Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of websites and web applications.
Build interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
Develop server-side applications, business logic, authentication systems, and database-driven features.
Create custom dashboards, admin panels, user portals and content management systems.
Develop scalable and reusable code following industry best practices.
Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, APIs and other external tools.

C. Software & Web Application Development

Develop custom software solutions and web-based business applications based on client requirements.
Build CRM systems, inventory management systems, booking systems, reporting dashboards, employee management tools and other business automation solutions.
Understand business workflows and convert them into practical technical solutions.
Develop user roles, permissions, login systems, data management modules and reporting features.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive business processes through software.
Participate in requirement gathering, technical planning, development, testing and deployment.

D. Back-End & Database Management

Develop and manage server-side applications using technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python or other relevant back-end frameworks.
Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar database systems.
Design efficient database structures and manage data storage, retrieval and updates.
Develop and integrate REST APIs and other required services.
Implement secure authentication, authorisation, data validation and error handling.
Maintain data integrity, application performance and database security.

E. Deployment, Maintenance & Security

Deploy websites and applications to hosting platforms, cloud servers, or VPS environments.
Work with domains, DNS, hosting panels, SSL certificates, and server configurations.
Use Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
Identify and fix bugs, performance issues and compatibility problems.
Implement security best practices to protect applications and client data.
Maintain backups, documentation and version history.
Monitor live applications and provide technical support when required.

F. AI Tools & Modern Technologies

Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor or similar tools to improve productivity.
Understand AI-generated code and verify its quality, security and functionality before implementation.
Explore AI API integrations, chatbots, workflow automation and intelligent features for client projects.
Stay updated with emerging web development frameworks, technologies, and industry practices.

G. Team Collaboration & Project Management

Coordinate with UI/UX designers, graphic designers, digital marketing executives, and project manager.
Understand client requirements and provide technical estimates and development timelines.
Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery.
Participate in project discussions, testing, code reviews and client feedback implementation.
Maintain proper documentation of code, project progress, technical requirements, and completed tasks.
Provide regular progress updates and report technical challenges to management.

3. Required Technical Skills

Candidates should have practical knowledge of the following technologies, depending on their area of specialisation:

Front-End Development

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive web design.
React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar modern frameworks.
Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or equivalent styling frameworks.

Back-End Development

Node.js with Express, PHP with Laravel, Python with Django/FastAPI, or equivalent technologies.
REST API development and third-party API integration.
Authentication, authorisation, and server-side validation.

Database Management

MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or equivalent databases.
Database design, queries, relationships and optimisation.

Development & Deployment

Git, GitHub/GitLab, debugging, testing and code management.
Hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, deployment and basic server administration.
Familiarity with Linux environments and cloud platforms is an advantage.

CMS & E-commerce

WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms.
Theme customisation, plugin integration and custom functionality development.

4. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant practical experience in Computer Science, IT, Software Development or a related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in website or software development preferred.
Strong understanding of full stack development concepts.
A portfolio of websites, web applications or software projects is preferred.
Candidates must be able to explain their code, demonstrate their work and troubleshoot technical problems independently.

5. Preferred Skills

Experience building complete websites and web applications from scratch.
Ability to independently manage projects from development to deployment.
Experience developing CRM, ERP, SaaS products, dashboards or business automation tools.
Knowledge of software architecture, reusable components and scalable application design.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, cloud hosting, or automated testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging abilities.
Good communication skills and the ability to understand business requirements.

7. Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive, technically strong and solution-oriented developer who can independently build websites, web applications and custom software solutions. The candidate should be willing to learn new technologies, solve complex problems, work collaboratively with different teams and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Important: We are looking for a developer who can do more than just design web pages. The candidate must understand the complete development process, including front-end, back-end, databases, APIs, testing, deployment and maintenance.
