Are you the person who sits between the business and its systems? Maybe you're the analyst who works out what people actually need, writes it down clearly, and makes sure what gets built does the job. If so, we'd like to train you to do that for our clients.
With AI doing much of the building, this job is mostly about people and problems: understanding a client's business, turning a messy conversation into clear requirements, checking the result, and being someone clients trust and want to keep working with.
What you'll do
- Join client calls, work out what the business actually needs, and write it up as clear requirements.
- Build and configure Salesforce with AI tools, with your work reviewed.
- Test properly before anything reaches the client, and guide clients through their own testing.
- Look after client relationships and spot where else we can help.
About Appdraft
Appdraft is a Salesforce consultancy. We help small and growing UK businesses run their whole operation on Salesforce: sales, service, and finance connected to Xero. Most of our work comes to us through Salesforce itself, and many clients stay with us for years.
We use AI throughout how we deliver, from the first discovery call to the finished, tested build. That lets a small team turn work round faster than firms many times our size. You'll learn Salesforce the way it's going to be done, not the way it used to be.
The rest of the team works remotely around the UK. You'll be based in our new Wimbledon office, working alongside the founder every day.
How the first year works
Months 1 to 3: Learn by doing, alongside the founder. Work on real support requests and our Xero integration projects. Start the Salesforce Administrator certification, which we pay for.
Months 4 to 6: Handle support requests yourself, with your work reviewed. Join client calls and write up what the client needs. Pass the Administrator exam.
Months 7 to 12: Run small pieces of client work end to end: understand the problem, build it, test it, hand it over. Look after your own clients and spot where else we can help them. Work towards a second certification.
You'll probably have
- At least a year as a business analyst, or in a similar role where you gathered requirements and saw them through. A university placement year counts.
- Presence with clients: calm, professional, and good at making people feel their project is in safe hands.
- Clear writing. You can turn an hour's conversation into one page anyone can follow.
- An eye for whether something actually works. You test properly and catch the gap before the client does.
- Commercial sense: you notice when a client has a bigger problem we could help with.
- A logical head. Coding isn't needed, though you'll learn to build with AI tools.
You don't need any Salesforce experience. We'll teach you.
What we offer
- £34,000 to £36,000, depending on experience, with a pay review when you pass your first certification.
