About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to lead the design and development of modern, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in front-end technologies and a proven track record of delivering secure, responsive, and user-friendly solutions. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, working closely with cross-functional teams to create exceptional digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of advanced front-end solutions for enterprise applications.
- Establish and promote best practices for code quality, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
Front-End Development
- Build, enhance, and maintain responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Develop reusable components and design systems to support efficient and consistent application development.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Collaborate with data, AI, and machine learning teams to integrate advanced capabilities into the user experience.
- Participate in planning sessions, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
Enterprise Application Development
- Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting mechanisms.
- Maintain high standards for code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to development standards.
Emerging Technologies
- Stay current with evolving front-end frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
- Evaluate and adopt modern technologies that improve application functionality, user experience, and development efficiency.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Relevant certifications or continuous professional development in front-end technologies, UX/UI design, or modern JavaScript frameworks are an advantage.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack web development, with significant experience in front-end architecture and design.
- Extensive hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience developing responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessible web applications in accordance with WCAG standards.
- Solid experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, microservices, and backend systems.
- Experience with Java and Python development.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable application architectures.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, component-based architectures, and design systems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development and build tools.
- Proven experience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving front-end best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in enterprise-scale or SaaS environments is highly desirable.

Work Arrangement
- Hybrid work setup, requiring on-site reporting at the client's headquarters approximately 5 to 15 days per month, subject to business requirements.
- Compliance with additional on-site reporting requirements may be required based on project or team needs.
- Standard working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Manila Time).
Pay: Php600.00 - Php900.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
