About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available within our communications \& IT team for an experienced IT engineer.
The successful postholder will initially lead on a new project in domain joining all the parishes across the archdiocese.
Working with the wider communications \& IT team you will provide technical support and training to all users and will play a part in developing IT security.
The ideal candidate will have relevant IT experience in a systems administration infrastructure or support environment and experience with networking technologies including TCP/IP, Wi\-Fi and VPN connectivity.
To thrive in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non technical users * The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple priorities set to deadlines * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Within this role you will be expected to:
* Lead on a new project to enhance the IT infrastructure across the archdiocese * Develop a plan for the project, ensuring implementation is within timescale * Work across multi sited organisations \& be able to travel independently across various sites
**Terms and Conditions**
Salary £36,225\.00 per annum
Location Saint Margaret Clitherow Centre, Croxteth Drive, Liverpool, L17 1AA.
Working Hours Full time, Contracted 35 hours Monday to Friday.
Annual leave 38 days inclusive of two gifted days and eight bank/public holidays. 3 day closedown over Christmas period.
