**Job Summary**
We are looking for a detail\-oriented Architectural Draftsman to prepare accurate architectural drawings, construction documentation, and technical details. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, a good understanding of building construction, and the ability to convert design concepts into clear execution drawings.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Prepare architectural working drawings, submission drawings, and construction documents. * Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details. * Prepare door\-window schedules, staircase details, toilet details, and finishing drawings. * Coordinate drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior design consultants. * Revise drawings based on client feedback and site requirements. * Maintain organized drawing files and documentation. * Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and standards. * Assist architects during design development and construction documentation. * Prepare presentation drawings when required. * Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and updates.
**Required Skills**
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory). * Working knowledge of SketchUp. * Basic understanding of Revit (preferred). * Knowledge of construction detailing and building materials. * Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. * Good understanding of architectural drafting standards. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship. * 1–5 years of experience in architectural drafting. * Experience in residential and commercial projects. * Knowledge of local building bye\-laws is an advantage.
**Preferred Software**
* AutoCAD
