We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Industrial Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. This role will support the development of scalable, efficient, and standardised manufacturing processes within a high-complexity production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Implement and sustain 5S, visual management, standard work, and workplace organisation programs across production and support areas.
- Conduct time studies, process mapping, value stream analysis, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality, safety, and operational requirements.
- Evaluate and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, repeatability, safety, and product quality.
- Manage automation projects, including equipment selection, supplier coordination, installation, commissioning, validation, and return-on-investment (ROI) evaluation.
- Support factory layout improvements, workflow optimisation, and effective utilisation of production resources.
- Support the standardisation and improvement of manufacturing processes in a low-volume, high-complexity production environment.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Management teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and improvement recommendations for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
