1- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate directly with Stakeholders through the entire design process.
- Manage design reviews, technical workshops, value engineering sessions, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Be the interface point between client and remote design team.
- Coordinate design changes, technical clarifications, and document revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experienced in electrical calculations, equipment sizing, single-line diagrams, protection philosophies, cable routing and grounding design.
- Knowledge of electrical design throughout all project phases, from technical assessment and concept design through detailed design and IFC documentation.
- Monitor design schedules, deliverables, and engineering progress.
- Coordinate rehabilitation strategies for existing MV/LV electrical infrastructure, including substations, switchgear, transformers, RMUs, cables, protection systems, and associated equipment.
- Coordinate for asset condition assessment and site survey information to determine rehabilitation requirements and design constraints.
- Review and coordinate interfaces between electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, instrumentation & control, telecommunications, and architectural disciplines.
- Review technical specifications, equipment datasheets, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and cost estimates.
2- QUALIFICATION
- At least 10 years of experience in LV/MV Network design for critical infrastructures such as Airports, Power Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, etc.
- Experience in LV and MV Network rehabilitation projects.
- Experience in projects in GCC, mainly in UAE and KSA.
- Experience in Brownfield Electrical projects.
- Experience working within engineering consultancies is mandatory.
- Knowledge of IEC and IEEE Standards as well as SEC (Saudi Electrical Company) standards
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
- Professional grade in Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
