A/C Installation Working Supervisor

Artic Building Services is seeking an experienced and motivated A/C Installation Working Supervisor to oversee air-conditioning installation projects while remaining actively involved in hands-on work. The successful candidate will lead installation teams, maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate A/C installation works on site.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor the quality and progress of work.
- Install, commission and test a range of air-conditioning systems.
- Ensure installations comply with manufacturers' instructions, project specifications and relevant regulations.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including completing site documentation and risk assessments.
- Identify and resolve installation issues promptly.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors and other trades.
- Support maintenance and service activities when required.
- Ensure tools, materials and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Complete installation records, progress reports and other required documentation.
- Mentor less-experienced team members and promote good working practices.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 10 years of A/C installation experience.
- Relevant air-conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering qualifications.
- Appropriate industry certifications, including current refrigerant-handling certification where required.
- Strong practical knowledge of A/C installation methods, equipment and commissioning procedures.
- Good working knowledge of maintenance and service activities.
- Proven experience supervising installation teams and managing site activities.
- Ability to supervise installation works while remaining hands-on.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
