Job Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer with strong technical expertise and hands-on professional experience developing and implementing AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of generative AI, AI agents, and AI application development, with experience delivering AI projects in a professional or enterprise environment.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable, in-depth AI knowledge and practical project experience, rather than candidates whose exposure is limited to personal projects, occasional experimentation, or basic AI tool usage. The candidate should be capable of developing, integrating, testing, and improving AI solutions that address real-world business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications and intelligent agent solutions.
• Apply prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and tool integration techniques.
• Build retrieval workflows to process, organize, and retrieve information from various knowledge sources.
• Integrate AI applications with REST APIs, enterprise data sources, and cloud services using Python.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Develop automated tests and evaluation methods to assess AI accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve AI solutions based on testing results and user feedback.
• Build prototypes, maintain reusable code, and use version control and AI-assisted development tools.
• Contribute to AI-driven workflow automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure solutions follow applicable security, compliance, and software development standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Python development, software engineering, or a related technical field, with substantial hands-on experience in AI development.
• Professional experience delivering AI projects in a work environment, with demonstrable contributions to the design, development, integration, or deployment of AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, AI agents, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, and tool calling.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, JSON, Git, and modular software development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and AI application development platforms.
• Experience with AI testing, evaluation, debugging, performance improvement, and application integration.
• Ability to explain AI concepts, technical decisions, implementation approaches, and limitations with confidence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and learn new technologies.
• Good communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing AI agents or multi-agent applications.
• Exposure to enterprise AI solutions and cloud-based AI platforms.
• Knowledge of information retrieval, knowledge-based applications, and AI workflow automation.
• Experience building and refining AI solutions through iterative development, testing, and real-world implementation.

Important Candidate Consideration

Candidates should have substantial, hands-on professional AI project experience and in-depth technical knowledge. Personal AI projects, academic exposure, occasional AI experimentation, or experience using AI tools alone are not sufficient substitutes for professional AI development experience.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their actual contributions to AI projects, explain the underlying concepts and implementation decisions, and show a strong understanding of how to build, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and improve AI solutions for practical use cases.

Pay: Php140,000.00 - Php155,000.00 per month
