About Ascent Partners
Ascent Partners delivers qualified motor vehicle accident and personal injury leads to US law firms. We work with firms that want a reliable, predictable new source of cases alongside their SEO, referrals and paid search, and a partner who answers the phone and understands state law and injury thresholds.
We’re an early-stage company, and this is one of our first hires. You’ll report directly to the founder and build our organic presence from the ground up.
About the role
Ascent Partners is looking for an Organic Growth, Content & AI Search Manager to build and scale how we are discovered, trusted and chosen by personal injury law firms across search, LinkedIn and AI-powered discovery.
You will own our organic strategy across SEO, content, LinkedIn and emerging answer engines, turning what we learn from law firm partners, intake managers and marketing coordinators into content that builds authority and creates sales conversations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands traditional search, knows how B2B buyers use LinkedIn, and is curious about how AI search tools decide which companies to recommend.
What you’ll do
Lead organic growth strategy
- Own Ascent Partners’ organic strategy across search, LinkedIn, content and AI-powered discovery.
- Set clear goals and reporting for traffic, rankings on high-intent terms, LinkedIn engagement, inbound enquiries and booked calls.
- Find opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis, search-intent mapping and content gap analysis in the US legal marketing space.
- Stay current on search algorithm changes, LinkedIn platform changes and AI-search trends.
Build our AI search and answer engine visibility
- Develop our approach to Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) so Ascent Partners is surfaced and cited when law firms ask AI tools about lead sources.
- Create direct-answer content, structured content frameworks, schema markup and entity signals that support discoverability in both traditional and AI-driven search.
- Track brand mentions, citations and share of voice across AI-search environments.
Own SEO strategy and execution
- Run technical, on-page and off-page SEO for ascentpartner.org.
- Improve site architecture, page speed, Core Web Vitals and overall search health.
- Drive keyword strategy, internal linking and landing page improvements, including state-specific pages.
- Lead link-building and authority work within legal and legal-marketing publications.
Lead LinkedIn and content strategy
- Own the company and founder LinkedIn presence: plan, write and publish content aimed at personal injury law firm partners and their marketing teams.
- Build and manage an editorial calendar covering state law insights, intake and lead qualification best practice, lead-to-case conversion and how firms evaluate lead suppliers.
- Turn our state law guides, intake resources and customer conversations into articles, posts and downloadable assets.
- Set editorial standards and keep a consistent voice: warm, technical, specific, never hype.
- Repurpose every major piece across the website, LinkedIn and email.
What success looks like
In this role, you will help Ascent Partners:
- Rank for high-intent search terms used by personal injury firms looking for lead sources.
- Appear and be cited in AI-powered answer engines for MVA and personal injury lead generation.
- Build a LinkedIn presence that law firm partners recognise and trust.
- Turn organic channels into a steady source of inbound enquiries and booked calls.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, organic growth or B2B social.
- Hands-on experience with technical SEO, on-page SEO, keyword research and link building.
- Proven experience growing a B2B LinkedIn presence (company page, founder-led content, or both).
- A working understanding of how AI search and answer engines find, evaluate and cite content.
- Experience with tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Strong writing and editing. You can explain a technical topic clearly to a busy lawyer.
- An analytical mindset: you connect content to enquiries and revenue, not just traffic.
- Comfort working in an early-stage company where you build the process, not inherit it.
Nice to have
- Experience in legal marketing, US personal injury, or lead generation.
- Familiarity with US state-by-state differences in personal injury law.
- Experience with structured data, schema markup and entity optimisation.
- Experience building a content programme from scratch.
- Experience writing for a US audience.
Why join
- Build an entire organic function from day one, with real ownership.
- Work directly with the founder; your ideas get shipped, not stuck in approval chains.
