About You
You are an experienced financial services lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience and Expertise:
- General banking and finance legal experience within a financial services or commercial environment
- Experience reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements and NDAs
- Experience reviewing and negotiating reliance letters
- Experience drafting, reviewing and advising on bank guarantees
- Familiarity with bilateral and syndicated loan agreements and associated finance documentation
- Understanding of lending transactions and general banking documentation
- Knowledge of trade finance products and associated legal considerations
- Experience advising on supply chain finance arrangements
- Experience supporting bank guarantee and other trade finance products
- Ability to identify and advise on legal, contractual and commercial risks arising from banking transactions
- Strong commercial contracts experience, including identifying key contractual risks and negotiating appropriate protections
- Ability to provide practical and commercially focused legal advice to product and business teams
- Experience working directly with multiple internal stakeholders across product, operational and functional teams
- Ability to manage a varied workload across banking, finance and general commercial matters
- Previous in-house legal experience within a bank or other financial institution highly regarded
- Experience working with regional or cross-border stakeholders across APAC highly regarded
