About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a rapidly expanding Multinational FMCG (Food & Beverage) leader in Southeast Asia. To accelerate their digital transformation and enhance financial governance across regional entities, they are seeking an experienced and techno-functional Assistant Manager – Finance Transformation.
Operating at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and IT, you will serve as a key functional architect bridging core accounting operations with digital solutions. This role is instrumental in standardizing financial SOPs, leading ERP module enhancements, managing UAT, and driving process automation across multi-entity operations.
Key Responsibilities (Job Description)
- Finance Process Standardization: Conduct end-to-end finance process reviews, identify workflow bottlenecks, and establish standardized SOPs and internal financial controls across business units.
- ERP & Systems Optimization: Lead and support finance system and ERP enhancement projects (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Yonyou, or equivalent), translating complex accounting needs into functional system specifications.
- Testing & Implementation: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), workflow process mapping, data migration verification, and post-implementation reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary functional bridge between core finance/accounting teams, internal IT engineers, operational business units, and third-party software vendors.
- Financial Reporting & Intercompany Alignment: Support multi-entity intercompany reconciliations, financial consolidation flows, and ensure seamless data synchronization between operational and accounting systems.
- Digitalization & Automation: Build executive reporting dashboards and automate routine workflows using modern analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, RPA, Advanced Excel).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Work Experience:
- Around 4–7 years of solid experience in accounting, finance systems, or finance transformation.
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior-level capacity within a multinational FMCG or Manufacturing environment handling multi-entity setups.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong fundamentals in core accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and financial consolidation.
- Hands-on functional exposure to major ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Yonyou) with direct involvement in system implementation, module optimization, or UAT.
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency; experience with Power BI, RPA, or reporting dashboards is highly preferred.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English (written & spoken) for cross-border documentation and reporting; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Availability: 1-month notice period or immediately available (strongly preferred).
