About the role:
As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, lead best practices in software engineering, and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked their way up from junior or mid-level roles and is ready to lead by example while continuing to stay technically involved.
You will be involved in:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers
- Driving best practices in coding standards, software architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions
- Contributing to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Keeping up with emerging technologies and industry trends
To thrive in this role, you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience working in a software development role
- Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in .NET C#, JavaScript, and modern development tools
- Experience developing modern frontend interfaces with React/NextJS and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Working knowledge of CMS platforms, Umbraco or headless CMS desirable
- Proven ability to lead code reviews and support team development
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative approach with a passion for solving complex problems
