Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:
The Electrician I services job requests involving electrical equipment as assigned by the Foreman. This position also implements general electrical maintenance and activities that minimize the disruption of services provided in the different facilities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
I. Service Implementation
- Repairs electrical equipment as indicated in the job request
- Implements general electrical maintenance and circuit breaker corrective maintenance
- Inspects circuit breakers, and other electrical components to determine issues and identifies appropriate action
- Services electrical control, wiring, lighting systems, and fixtures
- Resolves electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Resolves electrical issues concerning motor controllers and pump controllers
II. Performs other work-related tasks as may be required by the immediate supervisor and authorized representative
